I forgot to mention I went to Dave Matthews Band Concert in July! Holy shit, it was amazing! My lil sis went with some friends and ended up being late for the concert. She came into Satellite which was around song #4. Anyways I drove by myself and took N. Tryon all the way up. Apparently so does every other DMB fan lol. It was Fing hot and I made sure to buy a water bottle. I loved my seat and I took some pics which you can find on my Facebook page. It's open to the public so everyone should be able to see them.
Also, I started school, ugh. Well, I like my History of NC class and my Photography class too! My Math one is ok and so are the computer ones.
Allergies have started to ack up. Probably due to the weather change or its a cold and my immune system getting used to being with icky kids lol
Also, I found another Wicked fan who lives in NC! I was looking at pictures of Anne Brummel and saw her with Anne and clicked on it. It linked me to her blog and apparently this girl has been to like 4 Wicked shows lol I found her on FB and wrote her a quick message telling her who I was and she accepted my invite and we talked for a bit. She was at the same Charlotte show that I was at and even to Witches Night Out. Hopefully, I can meet her one day at a future Wicked show hehe.
Other than that, things are well.
Until next time, La Gra!

My Birthday and other stuff
So I am 24. I have survived being 23. What did I get for presents? Gift cards to Target, Barnes and Noble, and Itunes. I know some people think gift cards are cheating but to me they are easy and I get to pick what I what since I am picky. I also got a pair of jeans that don't fit (hehe) and a nice white blouse. I still need an ENO hammock (Eagles Nest Outfitters) and an XBOX 360. The XBOX 360, I am waiting on a pay back check from my older sister, then I will buy the $299 game console.
School starts next week and I might cry lol. I have always hated school. I mean hate. I liked the social aspect of school more than I did the learning. Granted, there were some cool things we learn in school, but I could care less about history and math. Science I liked. Art, was ok. Gym, I really had fun in. Religion was ok too.
I also have come to accept the fact that I am an atheist. I still go to church thinking that maybe somehow I will find my way back but I just can't believe in something that they can't see nor feel. I don't believe that the bread and wine are transformed into the actual body and blood of Christ. (that just grossed me out as a kid in 2nd grade) I have always questioned and wondered. I stand there in Church wondering how all these people can believe in something that they can't see and how we are suppose to believe in things in the Bible that happened centuries before any of us were born. So I have given up in that area.
FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE! Finally, jeez, I can't wait to see what happens this year in 2010 season of NFL. I hope the Cowboys do alright. The Panthers? We shall see. we shall see. I would bet on the Cowboys doing better than the Panthers lol.
Ok, I think that is all I have for right now.

Summer Reading List '10 con't
So I finished Wizard's First Rule and it really was different from the show. I am a 1/3 of the way into Stone of Tears and it's seriously nothing like the show. I mean the Mud People? WTF? And Scarlet the dragon? And Brophy the wolf that Kahlan was going to Confess but instead he wanted to be turned into an animal lol. I am not into the Mud People much. Sorta boring. I like the book though. It's very interesting to say the least.
FIFA Fever has arrived! US tied with England. They need to win the next two games to advance. Please let them win! LOL
That's all for now. Bye.

Wicked!
So on Sunday (30th) I saw Wicked for the very first time. I loved it! I loved the actors and I loved the music! When I got home, I bought the rest of the soundtrack from Itunes. Then today I bought special Wicked tickets to see Wicked Cast at Witches Night Off! So stocked! I can't wait!

Update!
Ok so I haven't finished The Traveler but I did start Wizard's First Rule and I am liking it very much. I am at a boring part though, the Mud People. It's over 100 pages long and I am not getting into it very much. I am half tempted to skip it but I have like 20 pages left of this boring part so I guess I will suck it up and read on.
Also Alex Sharpe of Celtic Woman is leaving. She toured for 3 yrs and had fun but misses her family and I can't blame her. Everyone is sorta freaking out but they are handling it well. I am happy for her. I can't wait for the new girl!

It's not how long it takes you, it's how you finish!
So today my niece and I did another 5K race! It was the Girls on the Run 5K. This was my 3rd 5K run! We got to Independence Park around 8am. Checked in and then we saw Molly Barker, the founder of GOTR. I was in her very first trial GOTR program way back in 1996. She remembered me and was so shocked. I have to say that this lady is my Idol. After taking a picture with her, we set off to find SP's GOTR group. I swear there were like 1,000 Girls. They wore pink and the individual T-shirts were green.
So finally we started moving to the start line around 8:50. We finally started and it was sorta hard run this race because of all of the GIRLS! There were also Dad's running too! SP got very hot and tired around the 2mile mark but we would run and walk and someone said we had mile and a half left. We kept on running and walking and then we saw the finish line up ahead! I grabbed SP's hand and we ran the last 50yrds!
I am so proud of her.
It's not how long it takes one to finish a race, it's how you finish the race that is important. That is why all GOTR races are not timed. The important thing is that they finish and feel proud of themselves. I am very proud of SP and for every girl out there this morning! This was your DAY!
